CDARS is an innovative service with significant advantages for depositors with more than $250,000.00 to invest. Customers are allowed to place their large deposits into CDs in amounts less than the standard FDIC insurance maximum ($250,000) at participating Network institutions, which offers significant protection to their investments. This service provides access to multi-million-dollar FDIC insurance coverage. Terms range from 4 weeks (1 month) to 260 weeks (5 years).
